Technical Notes

Variety: Malbec 100 %.
Origin: Barrancas, Maipú, Mendoza.
Vineyard Age: Since 1993.
Vineyard altitude: 702 meters above sea level
Soil type: Clay loam with pebbled subsoil
Irrigation: Traditional furrow
Yield: 100 quintals per hectare

Harvested during the first half of March, in bins 300 kg. In the winery, a prior selection of bunches is made and the uncropped grape is incubated. The fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts, 3 pump-overs are made daily up to 2 ° Be, then 2 pump-overs are made daily until 0 ° Be. Uncorking and pressing is defined by tasting.

Tasting Notes

At sight it presents an attractive deep red color with deep black tones. On the nose, red berries reminiscent of the plum. The palate is fruity, fresh and round, with friendly and sweet tannins. Soft, invites you to have a second glass.

Pairing:
Ideal with veal roast and barbecue.
