Wines

Welcome to Martino Wines, the winery with a restless spirit! We are a vibrant enclave that celebrates the diversity of grape varieties. At Martino Wines, we are passionate about showcasing not only the indigenous varieties of Mendoza but also those traditional from other latitudes, challenging norms, and enriching the Argentine palate experience.

Among our exclusive selections, highlights include Pedro Ximénez, Sangiovese, Garnacha, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec. Each of these grape varieties tells a unique story in every bottle, creating a sensory experience that reflects our bold and passionate spirit.

Martino varietales

We are a passionate winery that seeks adventures and new emotions in the world of wine. We love being surprised by less well-known grape varieties, offering hidden gems. We work hard in the vineyard, recognizing that each grape is a treasure, and we are meticulous in the winery and in our practices. The result is wines that allow you to discover each varietal in its maximum expression.

Martino Superiore

In our tireless quest for the extraordinary, we often discover surprises. In Finca “La Violeta” in Agrelo, we found sixty rows of Malbec, almost a century old, hidden since 1926. We also discovered an excellent Petit Verdot in Barrancas, a Merlot in Gualtallary, and a Syrah from Los Chacayes.

These findings have committed us to treat each variety in the winery with the care it deserves. We have guided their vinification with the passion of a true artist, highlighting each virtue so that, in the end, in the glass, you can enjoy the perfection that captivated our hearts from the very first moment.

Our line is characterized by its “old world” profile, with robust wines full of personality. They have great aging potential, but we prefer you to enjoy them sooner rather than later.

Molteni

Molteni is the result of a story that merges a passion for the art of winemaking, curiosity, and inspiration from three iconic wine regions around the world.

The Molteni range consists of blends inspired by three distinct wine influences: the first draws from the grandeur of the Andean landscapes, providing a unique richness to its wines. The second takes inspiration from the beautiful region of Tuscany in Italy, renowned for its world-class red wines. And the third, influenced by the Bordeaux region in France, is characterized by its elegance and sophistication.

These wines reflect Hugo Martino’s vision of combining the best from these wine worlds into exceptional bottles.

Baldomir

This is the facet of the family where tradition meets solemnity while maintaining an elegance that never loses that restless touch in its constant pursuit of perfection.

Terroirs Series

In this tireless quest, we sometimes find ourselves surprised by terroirs that, whether due to their vines, sun exposure, soil, or a combination of all these characteristics, become truly exceptional and worthy of recognition.

It was from these discoveries that our “Terroir Series” line emerged, where we aim to capture the unique qualities of each vineyard, elevating these characteristics to their fullest expression. As a result, we produce limited batches of wines with an Old World style—complex and elegant, yet at the same time, displaying strength and an extraordinary aging potential.

Gran Malbec

Within the Baldomir line, this Great Malbec stands as the ultimate embodiment of Martino Wines’ philosophy. Our aim is to offer an excellent Malbec, guiding the finest grapes through a vinification process that results in a complex and elegant wine, drawing inspiration from the Old World while retaining our essence of the New World.

We exclusively vinify the harvests we deem extraordinary, selecting vineyards that meet these standards. This ensures that each bottle of our Great Malbec truly reflects our dedication to quality and our unwavering pursuit of winemaking excellence.

Fruto

“Fruto” represents Martino Wines’ line of low-intervention wines, characterized by its friendliness, freshness and ease of consumption. From the choice of grapes to the packaging, eco-friendliness is pursued, using lightweight bottles, recycled paper and Nomacorc Green Line caps from renewable raw materials.

The premise of these wines is their freshness and fruity profile, achieved without the use of new wood during aging, which occurs in stainless steel tanks or concrete eggs. They are not filtered, thus maintaining low intervention to offer the consumer wines that are as natural as possible.

The name “Fruit” plays with the duality of referring to the literal fruit of the vine transformed into wine, and in turn, being the result of experiences, teachings and the path traveled. In addition, the labels seek to reflect the nature and fundamental role of women in the conception of life, balancing strength, delicacy and subtlety.
